I interned at Tri-Impact Global for a month. During my time here I was involved in the organization of Worker Well Being Camps in Aligarh. I learned a lot of soft skills required in the social sector with the help of Mr. Pradeep Raghav who guided me very well. Over my internship term, I developed skills of  community involvement , public speaking and field work experience. Before and during the duration of camp I interacted with many people from different social groups and daily wage workers. I am so fortunate to help them in the best possible way I could. I want to thank Tri Impact Global which is tirelessly dedicated to improving healthcare access for workers and farmers. Through their unwavering commitment and selfless efforts, they have positively impacted countless lives, providing vital services  to deserving communities. Their work is remarkable, and their impact is immeasurable. I would be grateful If I get a chance to work with them in the future.

My experience throughout the internship period was intellectually enhancing as it was an opportunity to research upon the informal sector and the labor consisted of it. The tasks given were also easily perceivable to me as my coursework in college was also regarding the informal sector labor and their working conditions. Besides this, my capabilities to exert my communication skills and researching skills were tested. The delegation of work was done with consideration and support was given at any point I required help. This experience taught me more about being responsible and enhancing my skills as an individual

Received a good amount of exposure towards the insights of a non profit organization. Learned procedures applied in working towards worker well being for financial literacy as well as health infrastructure. I became sensitized about how important these issues are and what degree of negligence exists in our society where a worker doesn’t even have access to basic education wherein he can learn how to use an ATM or prevent himself from bank frauds.

Internship at Tri impact was insightful and enriching. The organization works building stakeholder collaborations to promote social security, financial literacy and inclusion, education, and access to health infrastructure. During my internship at Tri-Impact Global, I had the privilege of engaging in meaningful work that provided me with invaluable insights and hands-on experience in the field of social security, sustainability, and collaborative initiatives.

The program I worked on is called Workers Well Being Programme. It is a comprehensive initiative aimed at improving the overall welfare of workers in small factories and communities across different states in India. This program brings together various stakeholders to help workers access social security benefits and open bank accounts. It also provides essential healthcare services, including check-ups for common health issues and specialized care for women’s health, such as breast and cervical cancer screenings. Additionally, the program offers Financial Literacy Workshops to empower workers and marginalized communities with valuable financial knowledge and skills. This initiative ultimately strives to create a healthier, more secure, and economically empowered workforce.

During my internship, I had the chance to not only understand the mechanics of social security but also to identify the gaps that often exist between legislation and implementation. This practical exposure was invaluable in helping me comprehend the real challenges faced by marginalized communities in accessing vital services like healthcare and financial inclusion.

One of the highlights of my internship was the field study at the primary healthcare center. Interacting with the dedicated healthcare professionals on the ground gave me a firsthand look at the impact of healthcare policies on individuals and communities. It was an eye-opening experience that deepened my understanding of the critical role healthcare plays in ensuring social security.

I would also like to express my gratitude to Mr. Ritwik Arora, my supervisor for his support and guidance during my internship. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this remarkable organization and to have made a meaningful contribution.
